In December 2022, Delta Air Lines revealed that it will be phasing out its CRJ200s in order to streamline and modernize its regional Delta Connection fleet. With this recent news in mind, MotoArt welcomes this aircraft to the PlaneTags fleet - Meet N847AS, a CRJ 200ER.
Want to know more? We'll give you more on our blog CRJ 200: Delta's Reliable Regional Jet
N847AS was built in 1999 as a CRJ 200ER, and was delivered to Atlantic Southeast Airlines September 16, 1999. ASA, a Delta Connection partner since 1984, operated feeder flights along the Midwest and Eastern United States. In 2011, ASA merged with Express Jet and began operating under their brand, and at one time was the world’s largest regional airline by fleet size. N847AS retired in September 2016 and was stored in Blytheville, Arkansas. MotoArt acquired this aircraft in 2022 and created CRJ PlaneTags in 2023.
The Bombardier CRJ, short for Canadair Regional Jet, is a reliable and efficient regional aircraft developed from the Canadair Challenger CL-600 business jet. It made its debut in 1991 and became a popular regional jetliner, due to its low operating costs and flexibility for airlines. The CRJ was designed for short and medium haul flights and could carry about 50 passengers. Delta Air Lines has announced that it will begin phasing out its CRJ 200s by the end of summer 2023, with plans to replace them with a newer, more efficient aircraft, with a first-class cabin, such as the CRJ 700, CRJ 900, or Embraer E175.
This is an essential PlaneTag for any Delta fan. Be sure to add a Delta CRJ 200ER to your PlaneTags collection today!

PlaneTags are made from actual retired aircraft fuselage, not merely stamped metal. Because PlaneTags are made from real fuselage, each PlaneTag bears the color, thickness, and wear and tear from the portion of the fuselage from which it was cut and it is therefore rare to create two identical PlaneTags. These variations and imperfections are not product flaws. They are part of the beauty of PlaneTags. As a result, you will not have an option to select the color of your PlaneTag. The images on this website are provided for reference only and should not be used as the sole basis for choosing a particular PlaneTag.

I love how glossy many of these tags are compared to the other Deltta tags. Very unique variations of the combination of colors.
Love the delta tags once again! Great job MA!
Such a simple but clean plane. Glad to have this one in the collection
#2,147 of 4,000Tail N847AS in White Colours. Sharp, pretty and clean. The paint is smooth/soft as it can get. Delta CRJ 200ER I remember flying on this aircraft few times. Once that was with Delta, I have a vague account of that trip making a stopover/change of planes at Denver Int. Airport, yes the one with stories of Aliens/evil, secrets underground/passages and the gov. No wonder it's difficult to remember that trip at all. My tag is white (and right)
Good ole cramped regional jet! Beautiful engraving.
This tag means a lot to me. I work for an airline and work with the CRJ 200 everyday. The red pops on the tag and fits the Delta brand so well
I have fond memories of flights on CRJs. Looking at this tag reminds me of redeye flights from out of Salt Lake to go home for holiday leave as a young sailor. It certainly helps that the tags themselves are very pleasant to look at, too.
The CRJ-200 has an interesting character arc. When it showed up on the market, people loved it because it wasn't a turboprop. Fast forward 20 years, and it was despised despite its years of good, safe service. And, though I once was alright with the plane, I purchased a CRJ-200 PlaneTag as proof that at least one of Satan's Chariots was, in fact, unable to re-enter service and make it difficult for even me at 5'5" to look out the window. (Fun tag at a good price and off the beaten path of the others offered by PT!)
Excellent. Purchased for my younger son who fly the CRJ.
Purchased 4 crj plane tags I have flown this exact aircraft many times and that makes these tags special to me and my family members. . Very pleased with quality and service planetags.
I’m on a quest to snag a plane tag from all the commercial aircraft I’ve flown over the years. Being a Delta guy, this is a must have. I didn’t shed any tears when these were retired but I appreciate the history.
The new Delta CRJ200ER set is fantastic! Purchased a blue/white, blue, dark red, and light red. The blue tag just returned from an "in the wild" trip from EWN-CLT-CHA attached to my backpack! Thanks for another excellent tag and ordering/customer service experience!
Great tag, as always! The reason why I bought this item is, the Hungarian Airlines, called MALEV had this type of aircraft.
As a Crew Member that actually worked on this Airframe with ASA, It's a great memento to have.
Perfect tag of the CRJ. Nice addition to my fleet of tags.
I love this tag and the Delta Red as well vey cool tag. Can’t wait to see more CRJ tags
The tag came to me chips on the paint. I was very disappointed. This was a gift for a pilot and he wanted to put it on his luggage but the chips looks so bad he did not. I felt bad I gave him a damaged tag.
Love the tag as I worked at ASA, the actual operator of N847AS. Loaded her, unloaded her, parked and pushed her out when I worked the KATL ramp in the 2000s.
After having flown countless hops in CRJ's it is nice to have a CRJ Planetag in my collection. The Planetag arrived in great condition, and the shipping was very prompt.
Item is impeccable. This airplane is close to my heart, having maintained these birds for almost 20 years. Let’s me have a little piece of its soul!
