Description

Boeing 757

Boeing’s 757 was a twin-engine medium range jetliner that first rolled out of the Renton, Washington factory in 1982. It was designed to be up to 80% more fuel efficient than the 727 it was intended to replace, with a 239 passenger capacity and a range of approximately 3,900 nautical miles. The 757 was a versatile aircraft, equipped for both short and long-range flights, with a generous cabin and plenty of room for baggage.

American Airlines 757

American Airlines received their first Boeing 757 planes in July 1989, and over the years operated 177 different 757s. By 2019, the last full year before their retirement, 757s accounted for around 70 AA routes, of which 42 were domestic. They were used for everything from short, high density routes and other domestic flights. Its money maker was medium haul flights, such as DFW to South America or from the Philidelphia hub to secondary European destinations. They were expected to be retired by 2024 but their retirement was hastened by the pandemic in 2020.

MotoArt is pleased to honor the American Airlines workhorse with our newest PlaneTags Display Rack design, made from the actual internal fuselage structure from a retired Boeing 757.

For The PlanTags Collector Who Wants To Soar To The Next Level

You love your PlaneTags and you’ll love them even more when they are displayed on an actual fuselage frame structure from Boeing 757, 767 and Lockheed L-1011s. Our newest PlaneTags Display Racks are the perfect way to show off your collection and rearrange or add new PlaneTags easily – available in 20- or 40-tag sizes.

Like PlaneTags themselves, each display rack is unique, bearing the scars from their years of service, and the imperfections which are worn with honor. The display itself has its own story to tell, further adding to the history of your PlaneTags collection.

A Labor Of Love

Each display rack is a view into a world usually only seen by engineers and mechanics. The fuselage represents the talent of hundreds of engineers who worked to design a strong - and rather beautiful - technically advanced aircraft that is just as stunning behind the scenes. The lightening holes, rivets and original fuselage paint are a visual treat, but the real excitement will be seeing your treasured PlaneTags collection arranged on the hand cut, custom pegs displayed on your wall.

DISCLAIMER

*Important Notice – Please Read Carefully

PlaneTag Display Racks are:

  • Authentic - made from actual retired aircraft fuselage, not merely stamped metal.
  • Unique -  each PlaneTags Rack bears the color, thickness, and wear and tear from the portion of the fuselage from which it was cut and it is therefore rare to create two identical PlaneTags Racks. These variations and imperfections are not product flaws. They are part of the beauty of PlaneTags Racks. As a result, you will not have an option to select the color of your PlaneTags Rack. The images on this website are provided for reference only and should not be used as the sole basis for choosing a particular PlaneTags Rack.
Caution: Not recommended for children under 8 years of age. This product contains chemical-based paint which may cause respiratory irritation if ingested or inhaled in large quantities. Keep out of mouth.

    Awesome - wanting more

Love this 757 display to showcase the tags I have. I am out of space now and hoping for a 707, 747, or 767 rack to complement the one I have
